On November 30, Professor Kurt Strasser will speak on "Scrutinizing and Supporting Green Business" at the Environmental Law Institute in Washington, DC.

Professor Strasser teaches Environmental Law, Contracts, and Antitrust. Professor Strasser joined the University of Connecticut Law School faculty in 1981 and has taught here since that time, serving as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs from 1996-99, and as Interim Dean from 2006-07. He has twice been a Visiting Professor at Exeter University in England. His scholarly writing is primarily concerned with the law of corporate groups as well as with environmental law and policy. His work has been published in numerous academic journals. Professor Strasser is a co-author Blumberg on Corporate Groups (2d. ed., 5 vols.), as well as the annual supplements to this treatise. He is also the co-author, with Mark Kohler, of Regulating Utilities with Management Incentives.
