On February 3, Professor Peter Kochenburger will present "Consumer Protection and Insurance Regulation in 2013" at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners annual conference.
Professor Kochenburger is the executive director of the Insurance Law Center and director of Graduate Programs where he teaches courses in insurance and consumer law. He consults with insurance companies, government agencies and policyholders on insurance and consumer issues, and has served as an expert witness in a number of insurance-related lawsuits. Before joining the faculty, Professor Kochenburger was counsel at Travelers Property Casualty for 11 years where he managed significant coverage and bad faith litigation, as well as legislative and regulatory affairs across a spectrum of subjects, including workers compensation, OSHA, guaranty funds, tort reform, antitrust, and environmental issues.
