Professor Peter Lindseth will speak at the Austrian Parliament on March 4 at a conference marking the 80th anniversary of Austria's constitutional crisis of 1933.
Professor Peter Lindseth blogs at EUtopia Law, a site committed to commentary on interesting developments in EU law. During the spring 2012 semester, Professor Lindseth served as the Daimler Fellow at the American Academy of Berlin where he explored the relationship between democracy and administration in the North Atlantic world, over the 19th and 20th centuries.
Lindseth is author of Power and Legitimacy: Reconciling Europe and the Nation-State innovative study using history to provide a more durable explanation of the nature and legitimacy of European integration in the face of persistent crisis. He teaches Administrative Law, European Union Law, Legal History, International Business Transactions, and Torts. Lindseth's research focuses on the historical evolution of the administrative state in the twentieth century as well as the relationship of administrative governance to the process of European integration.
