On March 14, Interim Dean Willajeanne McLean will be the keynote speaker for "Pathways to Leadership for Women Lawyers," an event sponsored by the Connecticut Bar Association's (CBA) Women in the Law Committee in association with the CBA Young Lawyers Section.

Dean McLean has served as interim dean of the Law School since fall 2012. She is an expert in trademarks, European Union law, and Torts, as well Intellectual Property law. She received degrees in French Literature and European History at Wellesley as well as a degree in microbiology from UMass-Amherst. Prior to her service as interim dean, Dean McLean served as associate dean for academic affairs. Dean McLean received her law degree from Fordham University, and also attended the Institute of European Studies at the Free University of Brussels, earning a degree in European Law.

  • On May 21, Professor Richard A. Wilson will present "International Law of Speech Crimes" as part of a series of guest lectures at the International Criminal Court, The Netherlands.
