Unpopular Criminal Defendants

In February, Professor Leonard Orland participated in a panel discussion at the Federal Bar Council Winter Bench and Bar Conference on the problems associated with representing unpopular criminal defendants. Orland serves as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Federal Bar Council.

Professor Orland currently serves as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Federal Bar Council, a 3,000 member organization which for over 75 years has promoted excellence and collegiality among members of the Bench and Bar of the Second Circuit. He is an Oliver Ellsworth Professor of Law.

  • On April 30, Professor Thomas Morawetz presented "Lessons from the Humanities" to the Legal Philosophy Discussion Group of Greater Los Angeles.
