Ben Bare is an adjunct professor at UConn Law where he has taught since 2011. He also serves as assistant director of the Connecticut Urban Legal Initiative, Inc. From 2006-11, Professor Bare served as an assistant corporation counsel to the City of Hartford, where he worked on issues involving general municipal law, tax assessment and collection, housing, land use, and development. From 2002-2006, he was an associate at Kutak Rock in Omaha, Nebraska, and Robinson and Cole LLP in Hartford where he practiced public finance law.
He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (B.S., Economics, 1997) and UConn Law (J.D. 2002).
