Congratulations and Welcome to UConn Law!
Congratulations on your admission to the University of Connecticut School of Law! I am delighted that you chose to apply here, and hope that you will choose to accept your invitation to study at the Law School. As you consider your choices, I hope that you will bear in mind some of the reasons why you should come here.
Be sure to check out the To-Do list to be sure you have completed all required documentation.
The University of Connecticut School of Law gains much strength and vitality from the efforts of our student-run organizations. A number of student groups have prepared information sheets aimed at introducing their group to the new class of students.
For the past three years, incoming students have participated in community service projects as part of their orientation. Students have gone out into the community in small groups to weed and clean up a local park, conduct a door to door pick-up of grocery bags filled with food donations for the West End and West Hartford Food Pantries and assisted with projects at a local theatre, to name a few. Students learn about their neighboring community and at the same time begin to foster relationships with their fellow classmates.
Community service project sign up is anticipated to begin in July 2013 for the incoming class.
