Davis Competition Winners!

Congratulations to the 2012 William R. Davis Mock Trial Competition champions, Laura Ann Keller '15 and Carl Schoenherr '15. Courtney Hays '15 and Melissa Lauretti '15 were the competition's finalists. Thad Bochain '15 was named best advocate and Allie Roisman '15 as best witness.

The event is presented by UConn Law's Mock Trial Society in honor of William R. Davis '55. Mr. Davis is a cofounder of Riscassi & Davis, P.C. in Hartford.

Presiding judges included the Honorable Joette Katz '77, the Honorable Michael Sheldon, and the Honorable Jose A. Suarez '93.

  • Grad Earns Heiman Award
    Cecil Thomas '06 will receive the 2013 Judge Maxwell Heiman Memorial Award from the Hartford County Bar Association on April 24. Thomas is a staff attorney for Greater Hartford Legal Aid.

    On April 20, Cheryl A. Chase '78 and the Chase Family will be among the honorees at the White Coat Gala at the University of Connecticut Health Center.
