Charles Klippel has held a variety of legal positions at Aetna for more than 30 years, primarily supporting health-related businesses. He served as general counsel for Aetna’s international businesses from 1996 to 2000. He currently serves as deputy general counsel and manages a team of lawyers who support the company’s government businesses, including Medicare, Medicaid and federal and state employees; large commercial employers; pharmacy operations; and international activities. He serves on various external boards, including the Executive Committee for the Health Policy and Management Department of the Harvard School of Public Health.
