Biography

Khondker Hossain is a teaching fellow with the Housing and Eviction Defense Clinic at the UConn School of Law, where he works with students who are representing tenants facing eviction. He previously worked as a legal intern with the Connecticut Fair Housing Center, a non-profit in Hartford, Connecticut. At the Fair Housing Center, Professor Hossain worked to help address fair housing complaints and housing insecurity in Connecticut. He has also worked as a legal intern with Good Counsel Services, a non-profit in New York City that aimed to provide affordable legal services for those in need. Professor Hossain currently serves as secretary of the Greater Waterbury branch of the NAACP, working to create community-based solutions for the issues local to Waterbury, Connecticut. Professor Hossain graduated from Brooklyn Law School with a JD in May 2021. Prior to attending law school, he graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a BA with Honors in History in June 2017.
