Jay Sicklick has directed the Medical-Legal Partnership Project, which serves 90 percent of Hartford’s needy children and families, at the Center for Children’s Advocacy since April 2000. Prior to this appointment, Sicklick was an assistant clinical professor of law at the UConn School of Law where he taught lawyering skills and social welfare law. He also was a senior staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society’s Bronx Neighborhood Office for six years, as well as a private practitioner in Boston. He currently teaches courses in legal ethics and professional responsibility and serves as an assistant clinical professor at UConn’s School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics.
