Clinical Opportunities

UConn School of Law is a leader in experiential legal education with a wide variety of clinical programs, a multitude of individual field placement courses, and several practice skills courses built into the curriculum.

• All UConn Law students are required to participate in a practical learning experience to develop the skills necessary to excel in the legal marketplace from day one.
• UConn Law offers 19 practical experience opportunities, ranging from the Asylum and Human Rights Clinic to the Animal Law Clinic, and everything in between.
• The Semester in DC and Semester in New York programs immerse students in those legal markets and provide valuable professional contacts while fulfilling the practical training requirement.
