Adjunct Faculty

Erik Lohr ’02 is an honors graduate of the UConn School of Law and has been a member of the adjunct faculty since 2007. In 2022 he was confirmed as a judge of the Connecticut Superior Court. Judge Lohr previously served as an assistant attorney general in the State of Connecticut Office of the Attorney General for 14 years, both in its Child Protection and Employment Rights departments. From 2003 to 2008, he was a Connecticut state prosecutor at the trial and appellate levels in the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney. From 2002 to 2003, immediately following graduation from UConn Law, he was a litigation associate at Tyler, Cooper & Alcorn LLP in Hartford, where he also had summered during law school. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Alfred V. Covello, then chief judge of the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut, in Hartford. Before law school he served as a reactor operator aboard a U.S. Navy fast attack nuclear submarine, and as a staff instructor at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit in Windsor, Connecticut.
