The Promise and Peril of Evidence Law

Professor Julia Simon-Kerr delivered a lecture entitled "The Promise and Peril of Evidence Law," on Oct. 2, 2023. Simon-Kerr, a leading scholar of evidence law, has written extensively on credibility and lying in the law. Her scholarship has been cited and relied on by multiple federal courts of appeals and state supreme courts. The event honored Simon-Kerr's appointment as the Evangeline Starr Professor of Law, a professorship named for Judge Evangeline Starr, the sister of the legendary UConn Law Professor William F. Starr.
