Adam Gendelman is a Senior Attorney at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) where he practices administrative, regulatory, and environmental law. Gendelman’s current practice focuses on the safety and environmental aspects of nuclear decommissioning, including reactor and materials decommissioning, and remediating legacy uranium contamination. As an adjunct professor he co-teaches the “Role of the DC Lawyer” as part of the Semester in DC program for students in full-time internships in the Washington, DC area. The course focuses on the unique challenges and opportunities that attorneys in the Federal Government encounter. Gendelman received his Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and has a Master of Science in Health Physics and Nuclear Non-Proliferation from Georgetown University.
