For over 30 years, Angelo Sevarino has been a leading attorney in workers’ compensation and liability, Medicare set-asides, and Social Security offsets. Currently, he serves as a Magistrate for the Judicial Branch of Hartford at Manchester and Rockville and is “Of Counsel” at Morrissey, Morrissey & Mooney LLC.

Sevarino has published two texts on Workers Compensation, Social Security Offsets, and Medicare Set-Asides, and is working on a third. He has also authored numerous articles and guest lectured nationally about the topics. At UConn Law, he teaches a course on Workers’ Compensation.

Sevarino is a board-certified workers’ compensation specialist by the Connecticut Bar Association Standing Committee on Workers’ Compensation Certification and is nationally credentialed by the Commission on Health Care Certification as a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant.

He received his J.D. from Western New England School of Law, an M.A. in Educational Psychology from UConn, and a B.A. in Psychology from UConn.
