Center for Students with Disabilities

Shannon is a Disability Service Professional with the Center for Students with Disabilities and the Office of Student Affairs. Her primary responsibilities include supporting and advocating for students with accommodations at the Law School and Storrs campuses. Drawing on her background in college teaching and research, Shannon is dedicated to helping students navigate higher education and access the resources they need to be successful.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Shannon holds a PhD in Music Theory and History from the University of Connecticut, an MA in Music Theory from the University of Connecticut, a BM in Music Education from the University of Delaware, and several graduate certificates in Postsecondary Disability Services, Disability Studies in Public Health, and College Instruction from the University of Connecticut.
