Steve Fast is a trusts and estates lawyer, with a background in tax and litigation, at Day Pitney.

Fast has taught the estates and trusts course at Yale Law School, where he was the Macklin Fleming Visiting Lecturer in Law in 2010; presented papers at professional meetings for the American Law Institute, American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, American Bar Association, Federal Tax Institute of New England, and Connecticut Bar Association; written for the Yale Law Journal Online, Probate & Property, and Trusts and Estates; chaired the Trusts and Estates Section of the Connecticut Bar Association; and contributed to the drafting of Connecticut’s Prudent Investor and Principal and Income Acts.

He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He graduated from Dartmouth College as a Choate Scholar and from Columbia Law School as a Stone Scholar.
