The faculty at the UConn School of Law brings new ideas and deep expertise to insurance law. Their groundbreaking research brings new light to the areas of risk regulation, consumer protection, Big Data and the intersections of insurance with gun ownership, climate change, discrimination and many other issues. Their teaching supports the nation’s only LLM program in insurance law and their research enlivens the Insurance Law Center, the world’s the preeminent academic center for insurance law, located on the UConn Law campus in Hartford, the nation’s insurance capital.
