Three UConn Law Alumni Named to 40 Under 40 List
Three UConn Law alumni have been named to the Hartford Business Journal’s 2022 40 Under 40 list. They are Will Herchel ’12, co-founder of Verogy; Dana M. Hrelic ’08, counsel at Pullman & Comley LLC; and Latonia Williams ’09, a partner at Shipman & Goodwin LLP.
Jason Weida ’05 Appointed to Florida Board
Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed Jason C. Weida ‘05 to the Board of Directors of the Florida Healthy Kids Corporation. Weida is the assistant deputy secretary for Medicaid policy and quality at the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. He lives in Tallahassee, Florida, with his wife, Kyley, and their four children.
Fletch Thomson ’01 Promoted at Textron
Fletch Thomson ’01 has been appointed vice president and general counsel for the Textron eAviation segment of Textron Inc., effective August 1, 2022. He previously served as senior associate general counsel for Textron.
Dinora E. Lopez ’17 Named to ‘Power 25’
Dinora E. Lopez ’17, a senior associate attorney at Gfeller Laurie LLP, has been named to the 2022 Power 25 in Real Estate by the Hartford Business Journal. Lopez specializes in commercial real estate and finance. She is the president-elect of CREW CT, which is dedicated to advancing women in commercial real estate.
