Jesus “Jay” Malave ’03 Joins Boeing as new CFO and Executive VP
Jesus “Jay” Malave ’03 joins Boeing as new Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. Malave has been in aerospace and manufacturing finance for over 25 years, most recently as the CFO of Lockheed Martin.
Amy Saji ’21 Joins Seton Hall Law School as Professor
Amy Saji ’21 joined Seton Hall Law School as an Associate Professor of Law & Inaugural Clinical Director of the Medical Legal Partnership Clinic. Saji participated in an accelerated program at UConn earning her B.A. in political science and her J.D. from UConn School of Law in only six years. While at UConn Law she was the Assistant Managing Editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal.
Anne F. Mahoney ’87 Retires from CT Division of Criminal Justice
Anne F. Mahoney ’87 is retiring from the Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice where she has worked for more than 30 years. Following her retirement, she will be teaching a class at Central Connecticut State University this upcoming fall.
Emily Gianquinto ’06 Is The Incoming CT Bar Association President
Emily Gianquinto ’06 is the incoming Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) president. She begins her one-year term in July, and has served as the CBA’s vice president from 2023 to 2024. Gianquinto’s has been working at McCarter & English Since 2018.

May 18: School of Law Commencement
The University of Connecticut School of Law will hold its 102nd commencement on May 18, 2025. The procession will begin at 10 a.m and the ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. We are expecting to celebrate nearly 200 graduates earning JDs, LLM, and SJDs. The commencement speaker will be Arunan Arulampalam, Mayor of the City of Hartford.
