Hope C. Seeley ’89 Appointed to CT Appellate Court

Hope C. Seeley '89 has been appointed to the Connecticut Appellate Court by Gov. Ned Lamont. The General Assembly confirmed her nomination on May 2, 2022. Seeley previously served for nine years as a Superior Court judge. At the time of her elevation to the Appellate Court, she was an assistant administrative judge for the Judicial District of Hartford and the presiding criminal judge. Before her appointment to the bench, she worked in private practice on criminal cases at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts. She has also taught as an adjunct professor at the UConn School of Law.
