Katherine Cotter Gent ’15 has been elected president of the Greenwich Bar Association for the 2022-2023 term. She is an associate at Cummings & Lockwood, where she works in the firm’s Private Clients Group at its Greenwich office.
David Wolf ’15 has been promoted to the rank of captain within the Westport Police Department. He was hired by the department in 2001 and is a certified law-enforcement instructor, teaching in the areas of search and seizure, civil liability and landlord/tenant law.
Morrison Mahoney has announced the election of Eve M. Kolstad ’15 as a partner in the firm’s Bridgeport office. Kolstad advises clients in the areas of general and professional liability, regarding claims of negligence. Additionally, Kolstad is a member of Morrison Mahoney’s Cybersecurity, Data Protection, and Privacy team.

The three UConn Law alumnae have joined the insurance coverage team and will be key additions because of their knowledge and experience in handling first party coverage claims in the natural disaster context, directly relevant to the wave of COVID-19 first party coverage litigation currently before the nations’ courts.
Ashley A. Noel ’15 has been named a Shareholder in the Hartford office of Boyle Shaughnessy Law. Noel works in Hartford, concentrating in insurance coverage and extracontractual liability. She also represents insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation, including the prosecution and defense of declaratory judgment actions.
Megan Fitzgerald ’15 has been named a shareholder at Boyle Shaugnessy Law. Fitzgerald is based in Boston and focuses on defending environmental, premises liability, personal injury, and construction defect claims. Before joining Boyl Shaughnessy Law, Megan served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
