Adam Kuegler ’20 has been appointed a 2023-24 Supreme Court Fellow assigned to the Federal Judicial Center. The fellowship provides experience in judicial administration, policy development and education with time to study and write a work of scholarship. Kuegler joins the Supreme Court Fellows Program from the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, where he clerked for the Honorable Sarala V. Nagala.

Louanne Cooley ’20 to Speak at CBF Event
Louanne Cooley ’20 will speak on December 6, 2022, at a virtual roundtable discussion entitled The Climate Change Crisis in CT: The Impact on Low-Income Communities and What Can Be Done, sponsored by the Connecticut Bar Foundation. Cooley, a legal policy fellow for the Connecticut Institute for Resilience and Climate Adaptation, is pursuing an LLM in Energy and Environmental Law at the UConn School of Law.

Alundai J. Benjamin ’20 has joined Wiggin and Dana LLP as an associate. Benjamin, who will work in the New Haven office, previously served as a summer associate with Wiggin and Dana.
Ethan Ung LLM ’20 Admitted as Partner
Ethan Ung LLM ’20 has been admitted as a partner at Halloran Sage. Ung is a patent attorney and former scientist who joined Halloran Sage in 2016 as an associate. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups. He represents insurers and corporate clients, helping them manage risks, mitigate damages and resolve a range of complex disputes.

Samuel C. Maduabueke ’20 has been joined the Connecticut-based firm Robinson & Cole as a law clerk in the firm’s Business Transactions Group. Maduabueke will work with clients on a variety of corporate and transactional matters. Maduabueke previously worked at the firm as a summer intern.
Jessica Zaccagnino ’20 Publishes Case Study
Jessica Zaccagnino ’20, now studying for an LLM in Human Rights and Social Justice, published “Authoritarianism in the Time of COVID-19: A Hungarian Case Study” for her Carnegie Council internship. Zaccagnino has focused her studies in part on illiberal democracy and authoritarianism, which is reflected in her research report.
