David Shapiro ’97 has joined Ibotta as the company’s first Chief Legal Officer. Shapiro has extensive experience with compliance matters, and will oversee all legal, risk management, and corporate governance activities.

Stephanie Clarke ’86 has been appointed to serve as a judge in the Contra Costa County Superior Court in California. Clarke’s is one of 18 judicial appointments made by Governor Gavin Newsom. She previously served as a staff attorney for the First District Appellate Project. 

Stephen Fontana ’96 has been named economic development director of West Haven, Connecticut. Fontana previously served as New Haven’s deputy economic development director, as part of the city’s Economic Development Administration.

Jeffrey Siegel ’84 has been named a partner at Fierst Bloomberg Ohm in Northampton, Massachusetts. Siegel has more than 30 years of experience with matters such as estate planning and trust administration.

Sarah Coates ’23 has joined Calamos Wealth Management as vice president-senior wealth advisor. Coates will help advise clients with areas such as asset allocation. 

Christina Rubino ‘18 has joined Cummings & Lockwood as an associate at their Stamford Office. Rubino has numerous years of experience with trusts and estates, and will work in the firm’s Private Clients Group. 

Ben White ’06 has joined Barclay Damon as a Partner at the firm’s New Haven office. White was previously at Murtha Culina and moved to Barclay Damon as part of a five-person intellectual property team.

Matthew Pesce ’18 has joined Murtha Cullina as an associate in the firm’s Hartford office. His practice focuses on complex financial and litigation matters in a wide array of industries.
