Rebecca L. Clegg ’15 has been promoted to counsel at Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP. She works in the firm’s Hartford office and her practice focuses on complex intellectual property litigation.

Shipman & Goodwin has promoted Danielle McGrath Braun ’05 and Miriam Lewis ’12 to partner as of January 1, 2023. Braun, a member of the firm’s School Law Practice Group,  focuses on public finance and municipal law. Lewis practices in the areas of corporate and commercial finance. Both work in the firm’s Hartford office.

Shipman & Goodwin LLP has promoted Aaron Baral ’16 to counsel status. Baral is a member of the Business and Corporate Practice Group in the firm’s Hartford office, where he represents a variety of companies and venture capital funds on corporate and transactional matters.

Douglas Dalena ’12 will serve as general counsel for the Connecticut Treasurer’s Office in Hartford, beginning in early 2023. Dalena previously worked as corporation counsel and director of legal affairs for the city of Stamford.

Lisa B. Andrzejewski ’14 has been promoted to counsel at Robinson & Cole LLP, effective January 1, 2023. She is a member of the firm’s Construction Group and works in the Stamford office.

Erin Nicholls ’16 has been named a partner at Wiggin and Dana LLP, starting January 1, 2023. Nicholls practices in the firm’s Private Client Services Department, where she advises clients on issues related to taxation, business succession planning, wealth preservation, and charitable giving.

Chlora Lindley-Myers ’88 was elected president of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners for 2023. She has been director of the Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration since 2017.

Andrew Glassman ’85 was named the 2022 Attorney of the Year by the Connecticut Cannabis Chamber of Commerce. He was honored at the Together We Grow 2022 event on December 7 at the Hartford Club. Glassman is an attorney at Pullman & Comley, where he serves as the chair of the Cannabis, CBD and Hemp practice.

Three graduates of the UConn School of Law have been elected partners at Robinson & Cole LLP. Andrew DePeau ’14 practices in the firm’s Business Litigation and Bankruptcy and Reorganizations groups. Sandra Marin ’14 practices in the Business Litigation Group, including pre-litigation counseling and dispute resolution. Evan Seeman ’09 practices in the firm’s Real Estate and Development Group.
