Christian Watson ’00 has been appointed the state’s attorney for the Judicial District of New Britain, Connecticut. Watson previously served in the Bronx District Attorney’s Office and as a prosecutor for the Division of Criminal Justice before going into private practice. He joined the New Britain State’s Attorney’s Office in 2010 and was promoted to supervisory assistant state’s attorney in 2016.
Rachel A. Gonzalez ’05, a partner in the Employment and Labor practice group at Day Pitney LLP, was honored on May 4, 2022 by the Executive Women of New Jersey with the Salute to the Policy Makers Award. She was honored for her achievements and efforts in advancing women’s leadership inside the firm and in the community.
Elda Sinani ’09 LLM has been has been named director of the Office of Policy and Management for the city of Stamford, Connecticut. She previously worked for the City of Hartford as a project manager, director of administration and director of licenses and inspections.

Wendy Clarke ’09 has been named a partner at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. Clark’s practice, based in the firm’s Stamford office, focuses on corporate transactions, including domestic and cross border mergers and acquisitions. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Foundation Solutions Indemnity Co., the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, and the Securities Advisory Council to the Connecticut Department of Banking.
Tom H. Wilkeson ’16, an associate with Verrill Dana LLP in Westport, has been elected secretary of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Business Law Section. Wilkeson is a member of Verrill’s Business Law Group.
Isaac Yilma ’10 has joined McGuireWoods in Atlanta as a partner in the firm’s public finance team. His practice focuses on public and infrastructure finance transactions.
