Jessica Farrell ’03 was promoted to Colonel with the Army JAG. Farrell was honored at the Pentagon on February 15, 2024. Farrell has been part of the Army JAG since 2004, and is currently assigned as a Career Manager.

Oona Cook ’02 has been appointed as Executive Director at The Care Center. This institution prioritizes helping young mothers achieve brighter futures for themselves and their families. Cook has a background in advocacy, education, and nonprofit management. 

Heather Spaide ’06 has been named a Member at Marino, Zabel & Schellberg. Spaide joined the firm in 2021, and focuses her practice in the areas of civil litigation and employment law. 

Evolve Bank & Trust has appointed Nicholas Pawelk ’07 as a Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer. Pawelk focuses his practice on risk and compliance management. 

Josef Volman ’91 has been named as a 2024 Go To Business Transactions Lawyer by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. Volman is a Partner at Burns & Levinson, and co-chairs the firm’s Business Law and Securities and Capital Markets Groups. 

Jamie Alvarado-Taylor ’13 was promoted to Principal at Stein Sperling. Alvarado-Taylor’s focuses her practice on injury law. 

Matthias Sportini ’17 has been promoted to Partner at FLB Law. Sportini focuses on litigation in the areas of personal injury, business disputes, and employment. 

Sabrina Copp ’13 has rejoined The Flood Law Firm as a trial attorney. Copp previously worked for the firm from 2020 to 2022, and has over a decade of experience with personal injury cases. 

Colin Leonard ’01 has been promoted to the position of Managing Member at Bond, Schoeneck & King’s Syracuse office. Leonard is a management-side labor and employment lawyer, and previously served as the Syracuse office’s Deputy Managing Member. 

Graham Moller ’16 has been elevated to Partner at Cramer & Anderson. Moller primarily focuses on personal injury and civil litigation. He practices out of the firm’s New Milford office.
