Suzette Meléndez ’89 Appointed as Faculty Fellow
Syracuse University announced the appointment of Suzette Meléndez ’89 as the Faculty Fellow for the Office of Strategic Initiatives in Academic Affairs and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Meléndez is a Professor at Syracuse’s College of Law, and has focused on diversity and inclusion throughout her career.

UConn Law Alumni Form New Law Firm
Mary Ann Connors ’87 and Joe Krevolin ’16 have established a new law firm, Adelman Connors & Krevolin, also known as ACK Injury Law, with Robert Adelman and Josh Goldstein, as well as paralegal Diane Stein. Their firm is located in Middletown, Connecticut, and will focus on personal injury law.
Margot Knab ’17 Promoted at Colligan Law
Colligan Law LLP in Buffalo, New York, has announced the promotion of Margot Knab ’17 to the rank of senior associate attorney. Knab primarily focuses her practice in corporate and business law. She is licensed to practice law in Connecticut and New York.

Kelly Kirby Ballentine ’13 Selected for Bar Association Initiative
Kelly Kirby Ballentine ’13, an associate in the Boston office of Burns & Levinson, has been selected to take part in the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts’ 2023 Women’s Leadership Initiative. The program provides leadership development and mentoring. Ballentine works in the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group.
Eileen Meskill ’91 Named Deputy Attorney General
Eileen Meskill ’91 has been appointed deputy attorney general of the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General. She previously served as an associate attorney general and chief of the Division of Government Administration.
Joel Henry ’13 Promoted to Principal
Joel Henry ’13 has been elevated to principal at the international intellectual property law firm Fish & Richardson. He practices in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office in the area of patent protection, primarily in the electrical, computing and mechanical fields.
