Amy Saji ’21 recognized by Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity
Amy Mary Saji ’21 will be honored with the Carolyn Golden Hebsgaard Award by Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity. The award recognizes a Connecticut lawyer under the age of 40 or in their first ten years of practice who has achieved distinction in the legal profession and has demonstrated a commitment to developing diverse young lawyers and law students in Connecticut’s legal community.
Saji is a Supervising Attorney and Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Health Justice Alliance Law Clinic, the medical-legal partnership between Georgetown University’s Law and Medical Centers.
David Shapiro ’97 Joins Ibotta
David Shapiro ’97 has joined Ibotta as the company’s first Chief Legal Officer. Shapiro has extensive experience with compliance matters, and will oversee all legal, risk management, and corporate governance activities.
Stephanie Clarke ’86 Appointed Judge
Stephanie Clarke ’86 has been appointed to serve as a judge in the Contra Costa County Superior Court in California. Clarke’s is one of 18 judicial appointments made by Governor Gavin Newsom. She previously served as a staff attorney for the First District Appellate Project.
Stephen Fontana ’96 Named to New Post
Stephen Fontana ’96 has been named economic development director of West Haven, Connecticut. Fontana previously served as New Haven’s deputy economic development director, as part of the city’s Economic Development Administration.
Jeffrey Siegel ’84 Named Partner
Jeffrey Siegel ’84 has been named a partner at Fierst Bloomberg Ohm in Northampton, Massachusetts. Siegel has more than 30 years of experience with matters such as estate planning and trust administration.
