Meet some of the 190 members of the incoming UConn Law class in the fall of 2022. The class includes 153 JD students, 122 in the Day Division and 31 in the Evening Division, as well as 37 LLM students. Christian Aviles '26 is from Los Angeles and has lived in New Haven for the past six years. He began his college education at East Los Angeles College and transferred to Amherst College, where he earned a BA in English and Sociology.

Natália Bortoluzzi Balzan LLM '23 is from Curitiba, Brazil. She is a graduate of Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná and specialized programs in Administrative Law. She is completing a Master’s in Law at Pontifical Catholic, specializing in Environmental Law and Sustainability.
Alexandrea “Alex” Davenport
Alexandrea “Alex” Davenport ’25 is originally from Texas. She has a BA in Sport Management from the University of Texas and an MA in American Studies from the University of Alabama.

Gabriela Doskos '26 is from Simsbury, Connecticut. She has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Sahar Fallah
Sahar Fallah LLM '23 was born in Iran and has lived in Connecticut for five years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Isfahan.
Kirill Gorlov
Kirill Gorlov LLM '23 was born in Moscow. He earned a bachelor's degree in administrative and financial law from Moscow State Institute of International Relations and a master's degree in International Protection of Human Rights from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.
Joy Hamer
Joy A. Hamer '25 is from Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She earned a BA at Spelman College in Atlanta, where she studied English and History, and an MA in Journalism from Georgetown University in Washington.

Brian McKoy ’25 is from Yonkers, New York, and has a degree in Business Administration from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York.

Joshua Schneider '25 grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and has lived in Pittsburgh for the past six years. He earned a BS in Emergency Medicine from the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh.

Rachel Marlena Stevens ’25 is a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana with a BS in Religious Studies and Women, Gender and Sexuality; Harvard University with an MTS in Religions of the America; and Columbus State Community College with an AAS in Computer Science.
